Bridge Club
The Bridge Club has three sections; one for ladies that meets during the day,
and two for couples (twosomes) that meet in the evening. Everyone is welcome to
join and will be accommodated. In may of each year, there is an annual social
gathering for each section which is an especially good time for interested
people to meet others involved in the club.

Cursillo The goals of the
the Cursillo program are to help Christians measure the depths of their faith to
find its reality and richness; inspire Christians to get on with their mission
in the world by hearing and heeding God's call; connect Christians in networks
that will enable them to carry out their mission; hold up examples of everyday
Christians who are acting as apostles in their ordinary life settings.

Garden Club
The many beautiful garden areas throughout the church grounds are planned,
installed, and lovingly maintained by members of the St. Stephen's Garden Club,
with generous support from memorial gifts and donations. Members meet monthly,
on the second Tuesday, to work in the gardens and plan future projects and
events. Some prefer to work at their own convenience in their special area. All
are welcome, help is always needed, and no experience is required. Please join
us! Contact: Kathy Seabury 254-5753

Retreats at St.
Dorothy's Rest For over a century, our diocese is blessed to have St.
Dorothy's Rest, a wonderful facility for retreats, conferences, and summer camp.
Several charming buildings can house groups ranging from 8 to 65 people in
semi-private rooms. A group of 50 people may reserve the entire facility.
Bathrooms are "down the hall", and each retreat building has a meeting room with
a fireplace or woodstove. There are also secluded outdoor meeting areas, and a
lovely old redwood chapel.
Though easily accessible
from the Bay Area, entering this peaceful place is like returning to a simpler,
gentler time. Perched amidst redwood, fir, and madrone trees on a hillside
overlooking a valley, it is close to both the Russian River and the Pacific
Ocean, in Sonoma County. The quaint old town of Occidental, with its shops,
restaurants, and historic buildings, is just a mile or so away.

www.stdorothysrest.org for pictures of St. Dorothy's facilities and details.
Sharing
Wisdom All women of St. Stephen's are invited to join this casually
structured group which discussed anything and everything that comes to mind. It
is a fun time, a serious time, a sentimental time, a time to share what is on
your mind, knowing that what is said doesn't leave the room. Sunday mornings at
9:00 (between Sunday services) grab a cup of coffee and head for the Library.

Stephen
Ministers Using Jesus as our model, Stephen Ministers learn the skill of
active listening, which involves commitment, patience, and attention to body
language. Stephen Ministers learn to listen for more than just words. They seek
true understanding and empathy.
