2nd Annual Succulent-Pumpkin Fundraiser for Winter Nights

 

2nd Annual Succulent-Pumpkin Fundraiser Sunday at St. Stephen’s:  Winter Nights is again offering succulent topped pumpkins to raise funds for the Family Shelter, Safe Parking Program and support for alumni households to keep them housed. It costs $1600 per day to staff and support families and individuals in all three programs. On Sunday they will be outside the church entry after the 8:00 am service and down on the patio after the 10:00 am. We are asking for a minimum donation of $25 each. The pumpkins are donated by local grocers, the succulents are from Ann Lawrence’s yard and friends from the community are topping them. All proceeds go to Winter Nights. If you would really like to help, take a few to your next community group meeting to sell. Spread the autumn cheer. Let us know how many you would like. It’s time buy bags of wrapped candy for Trunk ‘r Treat, St. Stephen’s happy Halloween festival for the children of our preschool and St. Stephen’s Hilltop neighborhood. The blue tub is in the Narthex for your donations. Be thinking of how you’d like to decorate your trunk so you can join the fun on October 27th .
