A 30-year member of the San Francisco Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, Stan has served many churches in the Bay Area, including serving as organist at Lakeshore Avenue Baptist Church for 12 years, and prior to that, served as Director of Music atTrinity Lutheran Church in El Sobrante, organist at St. Leander’s (R.C.) Church in San Leandro, Danville Congregational Church, and Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. He studied organ and harpsichord with John Hamilton at the University of Oregon, choral conducting with Jim Cunningham, organ with Lawrence Moe at U.C. Berkeley and holds the Ch.M. diploma from the American Guild of Organists.
